Playstation Systems
Gamers know that nobody has dominated the gaming market like Sony has with their Playstation video game systems. The original Playstation One took simple graphics and gameplay functions from Nintendo and Sega, and transformed gaming into an era where graphics featured an intense realism. By today’s standards those graphics are prehistoric, but at the time Sony Playstation took the gaming scene by storm.
When Playstation 2 came out, it was now competing with the popular Xbox video game system. Playstation 2 was also a huge hit and it became obvious that for sports games, Playstation had it down. Now with Playstation 3 out they have established themselves as a leader in video game systems, along with Xbox 360. The new Playstation 3 video game system comes with a 40 or 80GB hard drive, and the new BluRay disc player, which adds to the value you get when buying a Playstation 3 rather than its competitor Xbox 360. In short, Playstation video game systems are the leader in the gaming market and we can only speculate on what could be the next innovation from Sony Playstation.
