Nintendo Systems
Nintendo
was for a long time the leader in the video game industry and they are trying
to re-establish themselves there once again. When Nintendo came out with the
original Nintendo video game system it was the only system anyone wanted to
own. It had the most games and, of course, it featured the addicting Super
Mario games. After that, Nintendo came out with the also popular Super Nintendo
video game system. During the 90’s, these video game systems were really all
anybody played. They were dominant. As the new millennium came around, so did
competition as Sony’s Playstation came to the forefront of the video game market
and Nintendo fell back. Now, Nintendo has come out with its new and innovative
Nintendo Wii video game system.
Nintendo Wii features unique gameplay settings,
as you use motion sensors to give a more life-like feel to playing. Using
controllers that react to how you move them your game play is now almost like
virtual reality. Many people are beginning to find this more fun than the
typical thumb movements of most gaming systems. Nintendo is attempting to take
back the video game market and the Wii may just be their ticket to getting
their foot back in the door.
